Limited Edition Chocolate Drenched Milano Cookies

Each winter Pepperidge Farms brings out a chocolate covered version of their Milano cookies, which are extremely popular with both chocoholics and cookie fans.

The regular Milano cookies feature two crispy, oval-shaped sugar cookies sandwiching a thin layer of dark chocolate. As the photo above indicates, the luxurious Chocolate Drenched version features even more chocolate and is apparently quite the treat.

The Chocolate Drenched Milanos typically hit stores around the December holidays, and in spite of the high price per package (as high as $4 for seven cookies) they don’t last long.

The Chocolate Drenched Milano is not the only variation that Pepperidge Farm puts on the market at various times throughout the year. The company also makes a Mint Milano, a Mint Chocolate Milano, a Double Chocolate Milano, an Orange Milano, a Raspberry Milano, a French Vanilla Milano, an Amaretto Milano, a Black & White Milano, a Milk Chocolate Milano, and a Raspberry Chocolate Milano.

Where or where are the chocolate drenched Milano cookies this year? Target had them last year, but so far no sign of them and it’s Dec 9th - I’m getting worried!

I wish I knew where they were. I was going to ask the same question. Let me know if you find them and I will do the same.
