Funny Cide Pride Ice Cream

Racing fans got to celebrate the career of Funny Cide this month, and the horse’s retirement celebration included the limited edition ice cream created to honor the horse’s career. Above is a photo of Funny Cide on the day of his victory at the Preakness Stakes in 2003.

Funny Cide can count winning the Kentucky Derby among his many accomplishments, but the ice cream is flavored with butter pecan rather than mint juleps. Created by Stewarts Shops, Funny Cide Pride features roasted pecans, chunks of butter pecan fudge and a butter pecan fudge swirl in butter pecan ice cream.
